RATIONALE
Preparing the students for higher education and equipping them with relevant technical skills that ensure a productive future through employment or entrepreneurship is the ultimate goal of the K to 12 Basic Education Program. Thus with this premise, TNTS offers academic subjects following the college readiness standards that will enable them to enter college with lesser subject loads which means lesser educational expense, and technical vocational specializations that will give the students opportunities to be employed in the different partner industries and be self-reliant when they could not further proceed to have higher education.
Program Description
The TNTS SHS Curriculum Model has the following general education subjects English, Math, Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, NSTP, P.E., and additional Computer and Technical Drawing for students coming from general high school being taught by teachers with masters’ degree. It also includes TVE specializations handled by TESDA certified teachers such as Automotive, Electronics, Drafting Technology with Building Construction, and Food Trades with industry exposure and on-the-job training.
There are 39 senior high school students currently enrolled in the TNTS-SHSMP of which 13 students enrolled in food trades, 7 in consumer electronics, 10 in automotive, and 9 in drafting technology.

Strategies
- Consult public and private colleges for the subjects description to be offered in SHS
- Conduct writeshop on syllabus making and competency based learning module writing
- Establish industry linkages and higher education institution partners
- Strengthen linkages with LGU, PTA, and other stakeholders
- Comply with TESDA requirements as training and assessment center
- Procure tools, equipment, and learning materials
- Encourage teachers to pursue graduate studies
